Things get cooking in the Hirsch’s kitchen

PINESLOPES – Hirsch's Fourways saw Margaret Hirsch join Stacey Chan in cooking up a storm in honour of Women's Month.

Hirsch’s Fourways hosted a fun Women’s Month cooking demo with chef Stacey Chan, assisted by Hirsch’s Homestore multi-talented chief operating officer Margaret Hirsch.

Chan started with a roasted cherry tomato and basil soup with beetroot crisps and micro herb salad. She followed this with a vegetarian frittata as well as a deliciously smoked trout frittata topped with creamy chive dressing and fresh baby leaf salad.

Margaret Hirsch and Stacey Chan cook up a storm, including salmon and vegetarian frittatas.
The crowd gets to see the chefs create a three-course meal right in front of them.

“She finished with fresh strawberry and vanilla bean ‘dry ice’ ice creams in mini sugar cones, which was a real treat to watch and eat,” said Sharron Dingle, the public relations officer for the Fourways branch.

Hirsch’s regularly plans fun events at their store and invites everyone to come and become a part of the family.
