Police nab man in possession of drugs in Paulshof

PAULSHOF – One man has been arrested in the Paulshof area after a tip-off to police led to them finding marijuana in his home.


A 46-year-old man residing in Paulshof has been arrested for allegedly dealing in marijuana, according to Captain Granville Meyer who is the spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station.

The arrest occurred on 25 March as part of police efforts to remove drugs from the communities that they serve. According to Meyer, the man was arrested in his Paulshof home after the station received tip-offs from the public. On arrival, the police searched the property and found several containers and packets containing marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia.

“The suspect is currently in detention and will appear in court soon. We appeal to residents to keep reporting criminal activities in the area by phoning the crime stop number or via the MySAPS app, where they can provide tip-offs anonymously.”
