Join a free entrepreneurial workshop with Hirsch’s
FOURWAYS – The workshops are hosted every Friday and are free to the public.
The Hirsch’s Entrepreneurship Workshops, hosted each week, aim to empower business owners.
Hirsch’s executive director Margaret Hirsch and business coach Marlene Powell host weekly workshops with a number of speakers to provide business tips. Recently, the workshop hosted guest speakers Ann Wilson from the Wealth Chef and innovation trainer Wendy Mahoney.
Wilson pointed out that abundance is an activity and a choice people can make. “We have to know ourselves and find joy in who we are before we get into the money side of things. Abundance is an activity and a choice we can make” She encouraged the audience to find a way to slow down their lives. “You need to take time to chew the cud to seek joy and abundance. Find joy in the minutiae of life and approach every day with wonder.”
Mahoney said that with the world changing at a rapid pace, innovation has been accelerated. “The biggest blocks right now are judgement and fear of innovation. Fear blocks everything. We need to be adaptable, recognise our fear, navigate it and avoid getting sucked into it.”
The virtual workshops are hosted every Friday between 11am and 12pm. The next workshop will be hosted on 14 August. The topic will be, “Your Network Is Your Networth,” and speakers include Paul Smith, founder of Civitas Network as well as author and financial planner, Sylvia Walker.
