Fatal pedestrian accident in Fourways
FOURWAYS – The pedestrian was declared dead on scene due to critical injuries.
Emer-G-Med responded to an accident on the corner of Cedar Road and Cedar Avenue West on 7 September at around 6.10pm.
Emer-G-Med team member Caitlin Kruger confirmed that only one vehicle was involved and a pedestrian. “Pedestrian was hit by a single vehicle. Unfortunately, the patient passed away on scene due to critical injuries.”
Kruger could not confirm whether the driver lost control of the vehicle as there weren’t any witnesses on the scene.
