Taxi crash leaves five injured in Diepsloot

DIEPSLOOT – Shawn Herbst from the communications office of Netcare 911said that paramedics assessed five patients who had sustained moderate injuries.

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to reports of a collision on the R114 near  Bambanani Mall in Diepsloot at about 3.19pm on 4 October.

Shawn Herbst of the communications office of Netcare 911 said, “Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a mini-bus taxi lost control resulting in the vehicle crashing into the safety barrier.”

Herbst added that paramedics assessed five patients who had sustained moderate injuries.

“Once stabilised, all the patients were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment.”
