Pinnacle College Kyalami praises their Grade 12s

KYALAMI– Pilkington said they were incredibly proud of our matriculants who despite the challenges of 2020, kept their focus and have achieved an outstanding set of results.


Deputy principal at Pinnacle College, John Pilkington has praised a resilient matric class of 2020 for a stunning 100 per cent matric pass rate.

The Kyalami-based school obtained a 91 per cent bachelor degree pass and nine per cent diploma pass rate this year.

The campus was buzzing with excitement on 19 February as former learners came to the school to collect their results. “Credit must be given to both learners and educators for their hard work that produced this phenomenal results achieved by our school,” Pilkington said.

“We are incredibly proud of our matriculants who despite the challenges of the year 2020, kept their focus and have achieved an outstanding set of results. We wish them well for future endeavours.” Layla Olivier was the top achiever for the class of 2020 with six distinctions accounting, Afrikaans, computer applications technology, English home language, life orientation and mathematics.
