A search for leads in Paulshof robbery

PAULSHOF – Police are still on the lookout for four suspects after allegedly stealing a number of items from a woman’s home.


Sandton police are searching for possible leads to a robbery that took place on Cherry Road in Paulshof on the morning of 14 May.

Captain Bheki Xulu, Sandton police spokesperson, said four male suspects, three who were armed allegedly robbed a woman while she was working from home.

“The complainant said that she was at home and she uses her house for client consultations since she is a psychologist. After closing the gate, she heard footsteps behind her and four unknown males (three with firearms) pointed the firearms at her.”

The suspects allegedly tied her with a T-shirt and laid her down on the floor. They then proceeded to steal a number of items.

“They took the following items in the house: LG Plasma TV, HP laptop, Samsung cell phones, jewellery, six bottles of whisky, wallets and bank cards. Police attended the scene, and a house robbery case was opened for further investigation.”

No arrests have been made, but the police are following all possible leads.
