One injured in collison in Douglasdale

DOUGLASDALE – The patient sustained mild injuries and was transported to the nearest hospital for further care.


Emer-G-Med responded to a collision involving a motorcycle on October 4 around 09:00 on the corner of Leslie Avenue and Hornbill Road in Douglasdale.

According to Emer-G-Med medic Caitlin Kruger, a vehicle made a U-turn in front of the motorcycle, which caused the collision.  “The patient sustained mild to moderate injuries and was taken to hospital by Emer-G-Med.”

All relevant authorities were on the scene.
