One shot in house robbery in Fourways

FOURWAYS – Both patients were stable and one was transported by Emer-G-Med to the nearest hospital for further care.

Emer-G-Med responded to a shooting that took place on October 6 at around 10:30 in Fourways.

According to Emer-G-Med medic Caitlin Kruger, an unknown number of robbers allegedly entered the property and tied up the children and the domestic worker. “The mom arrived home and the robbers opened fire on her and shot her in the arm. The robbers then jumped a wall and hit an elderly female on the head with a gun and ran off with her car.”

“The patient with the gunshot wound was transported to hospital by Emer-G-Med under the care of an emergency care practitioner (ECP). The elderly woman was transported privately to hospital,” explained Kruger.

All relevant authorities were on the scene.
