Police seek information following a gruesome discovery of two bodies

DIEPSLOOT – Anyone who may have information is encouraged to contact Diepsloot Police Station about the discovery bodies.


Diepsloot police are seeking information from the community following the discovery of two bodies in Ext 13 on September 22.

Spokesperson for the Diepsloot Police Station Captain Tinyiko Mathebula said they received a complaint about two bodies, one male and one female, that were dumped.

“On arrival, one community member identified to the police a 58-year-old male victim who was found with a deep cut in the stomach. The female victim is still unknown and sustained severe injuries on her body,” Mathebula said.

At this stage, motive for the killing

is unknown.

“We appeal to anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of suspects, to contact police,” he concluded.
