The fun day was characterised by bowlers dressed up in colours representing a variety of countries – England, Italy, Chile, Bahamas, Jamaica, New Zealand and Australia, to name a few selections on offer to participants.

Dressed to represent Jamaica in good spirit was the team of Gavin Walsh, Janie Gibs and Colleen Chenye.

Killarney Bowling Club members Warrck Sagar and Hilton Cohen represent Ireland.

“There’s 26 teams today of four players each. Each team chooses a country around the world and they dress up for that country,” said Bryanston Sports Club’s manager Pat Carolin. “Everyone has a really good time. Today’s one of those days where the bowlers don’t take it as seriously but are here just to enjoy each other’s company.”
