Suspected criminal jumping over walls apprehended by police

Savika Special Ops have successfully captured a man suspected of criminal in Sunninghill.

Savika Special Ops armed response team acted quickly when they received a call from one of their clients in Sunninghill.

Racheal Naicker, the general manager for Savika Special Ops said, “We received a panic activation from one of our clients at around midday and we sent a dedicated vehicle and contacted the client. The suspect – upon realising he had been spotted – jumped through three properties with Savika in pursuit. Our reaction officers then apprehended him in a complex and the police were called.”

She said their fight against crime and ensuring safety in the community is of utmost importance to them.

“Because of these dedicated vehicles, our response time to any suspected crime or alarms is very short, literally just a few minutes.

Naicker said the suspect was taken by the Sandton Police Station.

The security company has a great relationship with the Sunninghill Ratepayers Association in crime prevention matters and campaigns.

Fourways Review reached out to Captain Tsietsi Phora from the police district to confirm the case and detail what charges were laid, however, no response to the questions were had been received at the time the paper went to print.
