Fans take a sip into the bright side
Johnnie Walker has hosted a celebration of their new member into the Walker family named Johnnie Walker Blonde at Monte Casino.
A grand celebration was held at Montecasino on March 23, to welcome a new member into the renowned Walker family. The event was hosted by Johnnie Walker, who had just introduced a new addition to their collection of exceptional whiskies: Johnnie Walker Blonde.
The festive occasion was filled with joy, excitement, and anticipation as guests eagerly awaited the first sip of this exquisite new blend. The alcoholic brand treated fans with food and the bottles of blonde.
Ramraj Keval, senior brand manager for Johnnie Walker Reserve at Diageo was left floating on clouds with how the party was received.
“This is the Joburg leg of the launch and we are taking the walk into the bright side. What makes this new member of our whisky family is that it is light on your palate, sweet, and almost feels like it is a bright taste on your tongue.”
He said they chose to name it blonde because of the playful side that the bottle embodies. Keval could not stop talking about his highlights of the party.
“It has been amazing. The people dressed to impress and I am happy that they did honour the invite and come. It is always with events like this that people get to let their hair down and have fun. You can see it on their faces that they are having a good time.”
