“We wanted to highlight the importance of recycling, but also play with the learner’s creative side. That way we were able to witness the power of innovation and environmental consciousness as our students demonstrate how recycling can transform waste into stunning fashion statements. We support a greener future,” she said.

Milana Boodhia turned a garbage bag into a cute and fashionable flouncy skirt. Singh said she was left impressed with how she turned it out.

The event was a massive success and received widespread appreciation from the teachers, parents, and the community.

The process of recycling is good for the environment and can also be a great way for people to earn a living – as seen by high volumes of people in the community dragging trailers and trolleys full of recyclables.
