Community organisation works to restore key access point
Fourways City Fourways promotes community pride and safety, by aiming for a cleaner, safer, and beautiful city.
Future City Fourways (FCF) completed a comprehensive clean-up campaign at the Riversands on-ramp onto Winnie Mandela Drive, opposite Steyn City. The initiative was undertaken in partnership with Century Properties, one of the area’s property owners.
The two-day clean-up effort saw FCF’s team of dedicated workers remove all refuse and rubble dumped on the grass adjacent to the sidewalk, cut the grass up to the bridge heading south towards Fourways, and repair a damaged crash barrier. The on-ramp and sidewalk were also thoroughly cleaned, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for motorists and pedestrians.
