Local athletes shine at provincial competition

Fourways Junxion Gymnastics makes waves at the Central Gauteng provincial level.

In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, Junxion Gymnastics, a vibrant community hub in Fourways, has achieved outstanding success at the Central Gauteng provincial level in 2024.

The gymnastics club’s competitors shone brightly at the WAG Level 4+ Provincial Competition, securing Central Gauteng Colours and a coveted spot at the Gym Games in Cape Town this September.

In an exciting development this year, Junxion Gymnastics introduced tumbling as a new discipline, further expanding opportunities for athletes. All competitors in this category also achieved Central Gauteng Gymnastics Junior Colours, marking a strong start for this new venture.

Among standout athletes, several gymnasts have made their mark with commendable placements.
The awards for the top Central Gauteng competitors are as follows:

  • Level 4–11 years: Aryannah Singh, 1st place
  • Level 4–13 years: Leah Florence, 2nd place
  • Level 5–12 years: Addison Fenner, 1st place
  • Level 5–14+ years: Gabby-Leigh Tapson, 1st place.

These achievements not only highlight the individual talents of our gymnasts but also reflect the supportive environment that Junxion Gymnastics cultivates.
