Kids Vintage Academy embraces cultural diversity this Heritage Day
Students and staff of Kid Vintage Academy came together to honour their diverse heritage by dressing in traditional attire, and celebrating each others specific cultures.
Kid Vintage Academy recently celebrated Heritage Day, a special occasion honoring the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our nation. The event was a vibrant testament to the school’s commitment to fostering an appreciation for diversity among its students and staff.

In a colorful display of traditional attire, children and educators alike came dressed representing their cultural heritage or proudly showcasing the colors of South Africa. The atmosphere was filled with joy as little ones, dressed in their traditional outfits, brought their unique backgrounds to life, sharing their stories and traditions.
The school principal, Ashleigh de Klerk, emphasised the importance of such events. “At Kid Vintage Academy, we believe in the power of culture to bring us together.
“Today’s celebration is not only a way to showcase our diverse heritage but also an opportunity for our children to learn about and appreciate the richness of our differences. Together, with their beautiful smiles, our students proudly embraced their heritage, fostering a sense of belonging and respect for one another.”
