“It is really a privilege. It is so ironic that we are celebrating such tough journeys but what we are celebrating are those people who hold these children’s hands on a daily basis. We hope that for the next 45 years we continue to grow and just get maximum output and impact to these families.

“Tonight is really a beacon of hope, which we hope to carry on. To dream, like we do, to lighten up these hospitals and these families, just to say that we were with them for every step. It is also an opportunity for them to grow and learn. It is nice to be here and represent such a bold stance.”

Sadie Cutland.

When asked which one of their success stories stood out for him over the years, he said, “Every day that we are able to hold a child’s hand, is a success story. Every day that our staff gets up in the morning and says that they want to continue this commitment, is a success story. I think another success story is to be able to do this across the country. That is phenomenal for us.”

He said their wish is to continue with this journey, so that a lot of families can be supported in their time of need.
