Teacher Jessica Reilly shared her enthusiasm for teaching young minds. “We love it because learners get to learn by doing, having fun, and discovering that learning isn’t boring.”

With eight years of experience at the school, she emphasised the importance of instilling a love for learning in young children. “I chose to teach younger ones because they’re like sponges, absorbing everything. I want to motivate them while they’re still young, so they develop good habits and values that will stay with them forever.”

She added that teaching younger learners allows her to tackle challenges from the root, shaping kind and morally-upright individuals. “At the secondary level, it can be challenging, but with young learners, we can mould them into better people.”

The celebration was a testament to the school’s commitment to making learning a joyful experience, as the learners’ smiles and laughter filled the air and they enjoyed every moment of their special day.

“Teaching these little ones is so much fun, and they want to learn,” concluded Newman. “As their teacher, you are a celebrity to them. You meet them at the shops and they just show you so much love.

“This is the best job ever, and we are grateful for their parents who entrust us with teaching and taking care of their tiny-little humans.”
