From the first whistle to the last cheer, the day was filled with energy and enthusiasm. B-Active played a key role in keeping spirits high. They brought their trademark professionalism and infectious positivity. They not only MC’d the event but also encouraged everyone to get moving and join in the activities.

“This year’s Sports Day was a fantastic success, with record-breaking participation from pupils and families. The sense of team spirit was incredible, with each house showing its pride. Parents even joined in by wearing house colours and taking part in the fun activities. There was a wonderful sense of community, camaraderie, and support throughout the day,” said Michelle Kirk of Unity College

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the event had delicious food stalls and a special appearance from a former learner who returned to sell ice cream. This was an inspiring example of the school’s commitment to nurturing independence and celebrating future success.

At Unity College, every Sports Day is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of ability, inclusion, and belonging. This year was no exception. The laughter, cheers, and shared moments created lasting memories for learners, parents, and staff.

As Kirk added, “At Unity College, we believe in creating memorable experiences and showing our pupils that they truly belong in society. It was a day to remember, filled with joy, laughter, and social cohesion.”
