Junxion Gymnastics closes 2025 with local and international wins

From gold medals to international representation, Junxion Gymnastics ends 2025 on a high note, celebrating the achievements of its talented athletes, dedicated coaches, and supportive community.

The Junxion Gymnastics team extends a sincere thanks to the Fourways Review and its readers for following and celebrating the club’s journey throughout an exceptional 2025 season.

This year has been filled with remarkable achievements, dedication, and growth from gymnasts across all levels.

In the Level 1–3 divisions, out of 78 gymnasts, an impressive 60 earned gold medals, 15 received silver, and three took home bronze, with 45 gymnasts placing in the top 10. A total of 75 gymnasts were awarded their Central Gauteng Junior Colours for these outstanding results.

At the more advanced levels, Junxion Gymnastics had 21 entries in Level 4 and above, achieving five overall medals, 14 apparatus medals, and 11 top 10 finishes. Every Level 4+ gymnast earned Senior Central Gauteng Colours, highlighting their consistency and skill.

On the international stage, the club proudly represented South Africa at the Malta International Competition, where gymnasts brought home 2 overall finishes and 6 apparatus medals, a testament to their hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence.

Adding to an already memorable year, Kiara Sutherland and Aryanna Singh represented South Africa at the Region 5 Competition in Windhoek, Namibia, in December.

Kiara competed as part of the Pre-Junior Level 5 Team, with Aryanna named as the non-travelling first reserve. Their selection marked a proud milestone for the club and reflects the growing strength of Junxion’s competitive programme.

Junxion Gymnastics also expressed heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated coaching team and supportive parents, whose encouragement and belief continue to drive the athletes’ success.

“ We are incredibly proud of how far our gymnasts have come this year. Thank you, Fourways Review, for highlighting our athletes’ achievements and helping us share our passion for the sport with the community,” said Nikki Stubbs, owner and head coach.

Stubbs added that as Junxion Gymnastics looks forward to 2026, the club remains committed to nurturing a love for gymnastics, developing confident and disciplined athletes, and striving for even greater heights both locally and internationally.
