Among the key issues raised during the engagement session were potholes, the poor state of certain roads, power-related challenges, and water leaks.
Foley acknowledged that many of these concerns had already been escalated to the relevant service departments, assuring residents that follow-ups were underway.
“These are matters we’ve already engaged the city on, especially potholes and the state of the roads. I love serving the people. I love being around the people, and I love what I do. I’m here to serve.
This is not something I do once in a while; these are weekly meetings, so I can keep up with what residents want, understand their demands, and advise them where needed.”

He added that regular face-to-face interactions help him stay connected to everyday realities on the ground while ensuring residents feel heard and supported.
Beyond addressing infrastructure concerns, Foley used the gathering as an opportunity to build stronger relationships with community members, engaging both long-standing residents and newcomers alike.
Residents welcomed the chance to speak directly with their councillor, with many appreciating the accessibility and consistency of his engagements.

“As a councillor, I believe you need to be available for your residents. I always send these invites on my community groups and socials, where I inform them to come join me when they have any queries, so they become informed.”
