Chartwell Stables celebrates a joyous 2024

As the year comes to a close, Chartwell Stables is extending heartfelt holiday wishes to riders, families, and equestrian enthusiasts both near and far. They are celebrating an incredible 2024 filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable experiences.

Lara Emmett reflects on the year saying: “This year proved to be remarkable for the stables’ competitive riders, who displayed their talents in competitions such as the Stepping Stones League and South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA). The emphasis on nurturing sportsmanship and horsemanship has paid off, as many riders reached the finals and achieved phenomenal results, highlighting their dedication and hard work.”

Throughout the year, Chartwell Stables has been a hub of activity, hosting a variety of in-house themed training shows. These events encouraged participants to challenge themselves and develop a competitive spirit in a fun environment.

The stables welcomed renowned coach Peter Emmett to conduct clinics, where riders had the opportunity to explore the diverse disciplines within the equestrian world.

Pony camps were a highlight of the year, with four successful sessions held during the school holidays. Young riders enjoyed spending quality time outdoors, forming strong friendships, and deepening their love for horses.

“Reflecting on the past year fills us with immense joy. Our focus has always been on creating an enjoyable and educational environment where our riders can thrive. We look forward to more shared experiences and growth in the upcoming year,” said Emmett

Looking ahead, Chartwell Stables is excited to introduce more social activities, including bonfires, braais, and game nights to build community among riders and their families. They also plan to arrange excursions to various equestrian events and venues, such as racing yards and derby day.
