New heads for Fourways High School
Fourways High School welcomed new leaders for the 2025 academic year, ready to inspire and serve the school with integrity and passion.

Fourways High School proudly introduced its new leadership team for the 2025 academic year.
Kian Naicker, appointed as head boy, and Liqhawe Badusa, named head girl, will lead a dedicated group of student leaders, including Jessica Nanguia (head of culture), Seleka Tau (head of sport), Wonwoo Joo (head of service), and Danni Teasdale (secretary).
Naicker expressed his pride and excitement about his new role: “Being head boy and president is the biggest achievement of my life thus far. To me, it’s far more than just a title; it’s a platform to inspire and serve my school with integrity and passion. We aim to foster an inclusive, holistic learning environment where learners enjoy being at school.”

Badusa echoed the sentiments, sharing her journey to leadership. “Becoming head girl taught me that what seems impossible can become possible if you set your mind to it. It’s achievable. Remember, never underestimate your potential. You are more powerful than you can imagine.”
The contributions of the entire leadership team will be pivotal in shaping the school’s culture and spirit. Nanguia aims to enhance the school’s artistic and cultural initiatives, while Tau is enthusiastic about encouraging student participation in athletics.

Joo is committed to promoting community service, and Teasdale is excited to support the organisation of events that will strengthen the student body.
Andrew Holliday, principal of Fourways High School, emphasised the importance of these leaders, stating: “Our head boy, head girl, and their team aren’t just figureheads; they embody leadership, responsibility, and the values we hold dear. I’m immensely proud of their dedication, their ability to inspire their peers, and the positive impact they have on our school community.”
