Families and friends cheer on Auto and General Cross Triathlon athletes

The air was thick with anticipation and cheers as families and friends lined the course, pushing participants to their limits at the exhilarating triathlon.

Families and friends came out in numbers to support and cheer on the participants of the Auto and General Cross Triathlon at Steyn City.

The event saw a remarkable turnout of supporters, creating a vibrant and encouraging atmosphere for the athletes tackling the challenging swim, bike, and run.

Louise Bentley, the head of marketing and events manager from Steyn City, congratulated all the participants of this year’s event. “I think if you’re a first-timer, you were very surprised how hard it was because even though the distances seem short, it’s a very challenging event.

“I want to say exceptionally well done. I think you’ve challenged yourself, and you probably surprised yourself with how far you can push yourself mentally and physically. So congratulations.”
