Goliath brothers return with heartfelt humour at Montecasino

Laughter meets reflection as Jason and Nicholas Goliath kick off their latest comedy tour, exploring happiness and life’s challenges with humour, honesty, and a new level of audience connection.

June 18 marked the lively opening night of the latest edition of The Happiness Economy Comedy Tour at the Pieter Toerien Theatre, Montecasino.

After a successful nationwide run in 2024, brothers Jason and Nicholas Goliath returned to the stage with a fresh, engaging performance, with audiences laughing and reflecting equally.

This new show, running until July 6, blends sharp humour with heartfelt insights, examining the true meaning of happiness amid South Africa’s societal pressures. Drawing from their personal experiences and interactions with fans across the country, the duo presented a show that’s both comedic and deeply honest.

The Goliaths have also been exploring happiness through their popular podcast, interviewing celebrities and everyday heroes about what joy truly means. Their stage performance is a culmination of that journey; an honest, sometimes emotional look at the mental and emotional challenges faced by many today.

Jason said, “This show is interactive, personal, and unlike anything we’ve done before. Think of it as a comedy with heart and sometimes, heartbreak.

“We’ve learnt that comedy doesn’t just heal, it reveals. We’re telling stories that make people laugh, cry, and think,” added Nicholas Goliath
