Champions Academy's U11 team pulled off a stunning victory against current log leaders First Kickers.

Champions Academy’s U11 team secured a 2-1 victory over First Kickers, the current log leaders, in an electrifying match at Panorama Football Club on July 12.

Obinna Nwobodo of Champions Academy shared that, from the first whistle, it was clear that the boys had come prepared.

“The boys displayed impressive resilience, strength, and teamwork, with each player digging deep to match the top team’s pace and physicality.

“Their steady improvement throughout the season was on full display, turning into a well-earned victory that is a testament to their dedication and commitment to the game.”

Coach Kamohelo Moobi praised the young players after the match, sharing words of encouragement for the journey ahead.

“The boys have truly stepped up. From a rocky start to now beating the top team, it’s clear their hard work is paying off. I’m proud of their progress, and I encourage them to keep training hard, stay humble, and continue believing in themselves. This is just the beginning.”

Nwobodo added that the team’s focus now shifts to maintaining consistency while continuing to develop each player both on and off the pitch, pushing for even greater performances in the coming weeks.
