Dads and kids bond over play at Rainbow Babies and Kids
It was a morning filled with laughter, love, and connection as Rainbow Babies and Kids’ Bryanston and Douglasdale branches hosted their annual father/child day.
The playgrounds of Rainbow Babies and Kids came alive with joy as fathers joined their children for a morning focused on play and togetherness during the school’s father/child day.
The event encouraged dads to take the morning off to spend meaningful one-on-one time with their kids. They created memories that celebrated the importance of play in both physical and emotional development.

From running, climbing, and painting, to building and exploring, laughter echoed across the playgrounds as children proudly called out: “Dad, come and see.”

Christine Young, principal of Rainbow Babies and Kids, said the event was one of the highlights of the school calendar. “It is such a special moment to see a child look up in adoration at their father, showing pride in their preschool work and inviting them to play.”
After a morning of fun-filled activities, fathers and children shared a picnic, enjoying snacks and relaxed conversations under the trees.
According to the school, these moments of connection are invaluable in nurturing a child’s sense of security and belonging.
