Dainfern Golf Estate turns glamour into giving with second Dîner en Blanc fundraiser

The exclusive evening brought residents together for fine dining and community spirit, all in support of those who make Dainfern’s fairways shine.

Dainfern Golf Estate once again proved that community, class, and compassion go hand in hand as it hosted its second annual Dîner en Blanc, an enchanting evening of elegance under the stars.

Dressed in all white, residents came together to enjoy fine dining, live entertainment, and good company in a setting that reflected the sophistication and unity that define life at Dainfern.

But beyond the glamour, the event also carried a deeper message, one of giving back. “Thanks to the generous support of Lexus Fourways, R50 from every ticket sold was donated to the Dainfern Caddie Foundation,” said Geraldine Harris, the chief executive officer of the estate.

“The contribution will directly support skills development, welfare assistance, and education initiatives for the estate’s dedicated caddies, an essential part of Dainfern’s golfing experience.”

She said as music and laughter filled the night, this year’s Dîner en Blanc stood as more than just a social highlight; it was a testament to Dainfern’s enduring spirit of generosity, unity, and shared purpose.

The Dîner en Blanc follows a series of community-driven initiatives by the estate.

Last year, Dainfern Golf Estate took part in the Adopt and Protect a Robot campaign, launched by the Gauteng Roads and Transport Department and initiated by the Fourways Improvement District.

Through this campaign, the estate ‘adopted’ a robot, helping to maintain and beautify key local intersections, a small yet meaningful way to enhance road safety and community pride.

Harris said Dainfern Golf Estate extended its heartfelt thanks to Lexus Fourways for their partnership, and to all residents and guests who helped make the evening an unforgettable success.
