Beaulieu College achieves 100% pass rate, yet again
Continuing its unbroken record, held since the inception of the school, Beaulieu College’s Class of 2025 achieved a 100% pass rate, delivering one of the strongest sets of results in the college’s history.
As South Africa reflects on the performance of the matric Class of 2025, attention has turned to schools that produced exceptional results.
Among the stand-out performers is Beaulieu College in Kyalami, which, by no surprise, has once again achieved a 100% pass rate, maintaining this achievement since the inception of the school.

The college confirmed that all 102 candidates in the Class of 2025 successfully completed their final examinations, setting a very high standard of academic excellence and marking one of the strongest results in the history of the college when compared to previous years.
The results reflect not only strong academic performance but also the resilience, commitment, and maturity demonstrated by the pupils throughout their high school journey.
“These outcomes reflect outstanding academic performance as well as the perseverance and determination shown by this class,” said Jorge Ruiz-Mesa, deputy head. “Supported by the unwavering dedication and professionalism of our academic staff, these results represent the best overall performance the college has produced to date.”

The Class of 2025 achieved an average of 2.4 distinctions per candidate, resulting in a total of 241 distinctions, including further studies subjects. A total of 79% of pupils, or 81 out of 102 candidates, achieved at least one distinction.

Further highlights include an impressive 95% Bachelor’s Degree pass rate, with 97 pupils qualifying for bachelor-level studies. In addition, 22% of pupils achieved an A aggregate of 80% and above, while 56% achieved A or B aggregates of 70% and higher.
The class also secured 15 placings in the top 1% nationally across six subjects, with 90% of all subjects achieving averages higher than the national average. “These results are a clear indication of both individual excellence and collective effort. They are a testament to the strength of our academic programme and the culture of excellence within the college.”
The school’s marketing manager, Lesego Tyebileyo, couldn’t help but beam with pride as she reflected on the day. “We are incredibly proud of everyone who achieved this milestone. A special word of thanks goes to our dedicated academic staff. Without their commitment and passion, none of this would have been possible.
