The church recently released its annual integrated report for 2025, which showcases a year marked by transparent stewardship, strong governance, and impactful community outreach initiatives that extend far beyond the church walls.

“We support the rehabilitation efforts of Leeuwkop Correctional Services by providing spiritual support and educational programmes,” said Pastor O. “Dedicated volunteers visit weekly on the Sabbath as an expression of God’s love and redemptive hope.”

As a result, 25 inmates from the correctional facility were baptised by the church. That’s not all.

The church has also had a busy year giving back to the community. Its outreach programmes included distributing food parcels and clothing to vulnerable families, as well as hosting health and wellness clinics that offered basic screenings, such as blood pressure and glucose tests, helping individuals take proactive steps toward better health.

“Faith calls us to serve, but stewardship calls us to be accountable.

This report helps us show, in a clear and honest way, how our faith is shaping real lives and strengthening our communities.”

In addition, the church invested in youth development through mentorship programmes that provide safe spaces for young people to grow spiritually and acquire life skills. Family support initiatives and counselling services offered guidance to individuals and households facing personal and economic challenges.

Elder Mutoda Mahamba, who served as head elder in 2025, emphasised the importance of trust and responsibility.

“We are entrusted with people’s trust, their time, and their resources. Accountability means honouring that trust in a way that is visible, responsible, and grounded in our values.”
