Fourways teen Bokang Maseli crowned Miss Global Princess SA

Bokang Maseli is using her new title to champion young voices while building a beauty business with her sister.

Sixteen-year-old Bokang Maseli from Fourways has been crowned Miss Global Princess South Africa 2026, adding another milestone to her growing list of ambitions.
Maseli said she was filled with excitement and gratitude when her name was announced as the new titleholder.

The title, she said, also came with a sense of responsibility.

“When my name was called, I immediately realised that I had a huge responsibility to serve, inspire and represent others. It was a very special moment for me, and one I will always remember.”

For Maseli, the pageant is not only about the title. One of the projects closest to her is Raise Her, an initiative she hopes will give young people a platform to find their voices and understand their purpose.

“The vision is to raise their minds, their voices and their future.”

She wants the project to continue beyond her reign and create a lasting impact, particularly among young girls.

“I want young girls to understand the importance of finding their voice, believing in themselves and knowing that their future can be bigger than what they see around them.”

Away from the pageant, Maseli is already building a business with her sister, Botle.

The sisters founded TR Cosmetics, using their social media presence as a starting point for the beauty brand. Maseli said entrepreneurship was something they had always wanted to pursue and decided there was no reason to wait until they were older.

“Instead of waiting until we were older, we decided to take the initiative and start now.”

The sisters are now exploring opportunities to expand the business, including the possibility of opening their own salon.

Maseli also has ambitions beyond beauty and pageantry. She hopes to pursue a career in law while continuing to build businesses capable of reaching an international market.

She is also looking ahead to the development of their upcoming TR Fashion brand.

“If we caught up with you again in a few years,” Maseli said, ” I would like to be able to talk about how far TR Cosmetics and Raise Her have grown, as well as the progress made with TR Fashion.

“I have big dreams, and I’m excited about turning them into reality.”
