4ways Dojo chops the competition

FOURWAYS - 4ways Dojo has been making waves in the world of karate.

On 6 and 7 June Karate South Africa hosted the first Karate Premier League. The top athletes from around the country who were either national champions or past and present Proteas were invited to participate. The tournament served as the ranking system for the future International Championship such as the Zone 6 in Zambia, Africa Cup in Senegal and World Karate Championship in Germany later this year.

4ways Dojo did extremely well bringing home a total of 28 medals including 16 gold, seven silver and five bronze. The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee also announced the karate Protea team to compete at the Zone 6 Championship. Seven students of 4ways Dojo were awarded Protea colours.

Sensei, Stef Biagioni said special congratulations must be said to 4ways Dojo’s newly capped Proteas, Emma Wentzel, Khardan Ruocchio and Aimee Grefen.
