JOBURG – This is the 21st anniversary of the race.
The leaders of the pack are battling it out along the route.
By 6.15am, they had already cycled 26km.

The first few batches of riders in this year’s Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge are pushing pedals around the route.

Meanwhile back at Riversands Commercial Park, the vibe is electric as cyclists and supporters prepare for the race. There are street dancers encouraging cyclists and music.
