The learners showed off their talent and made the school's leadership even more proud.

The spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie was in full swing as Crawford International Lonehill took part in the highly anticipated annual Summer Sports Festival.

This event brought together learners from the Crawford Gauteng and KZN campuses for a day packed with thrilling sporting activities. The learners competed in various sports, fostering camaraderie and a sense of community.

The Inter Crawford Sports Festival, according to Louise Clarke-Mathers, the client experience officer of the school, aims to provide learners with an opportunity to meet and interact with peers from different Crawford campuses, build lasting friendships, and have fun while participating in sports.

From the rush of competitive swimming to the precision of tennis, the festival showcased an incredible variety of sports. But what made the day truly special were the unexpected, fun-filled activities sprinkled throughout, keeping the energy high.

“It’s these moments of joy and excitement that embody the true essence of Crawford,” said Clarke-Mathers.

The Crawford International Lonehill Preparatory principal Gordon Ewen said, “Pupils gave their very best with some excellent individual results in both the swimming and the tennis. Well done to Paris Omenogor, who won the senior girl’s tennis section and her sister April Omenogor, who won the B division with some excellent tennis played. There’s something truly amazing about realising you are part of a dynamic, vibrant network of schools, all united under one prestigious name – Crawford.”
