Sandton police station reopened to the community
MORNINGSIDE – The Sandton Police Station is now fully operational.

The Sandton Police Station has been reopened following its decontamination over the weekend.
The police station was closed on 17 July after a member tested positive for Covid-19.
Spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station Captain Granville Meyer said that the station was deep-cleaned and decontaminated over the weekend.
Meyer said on 20 July, “The community can now access the police station community service centre. The station is fully operational.
“The SAPS management would like to thank the community for their cooperation.”

All communities serviced by the Sandton Police Station are advised that the station has been temporarily closed after a member tested positive for Covid-19.
Spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station Captain Granville Meyer said, “The Community Service Centre will be operating from the Victim Gallo Manor satellite police station at 10 Bowling Road, Gallo Manor.”
The telephone lines at the Sandton Police Station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.” The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which need to be attended by the Sandton Police Station.”
He added that the building would be undergoing decontamination and the community would be informed when the station would be operational again.”
The Saps management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this.”
