Various police stations in Ekurhuleni Sub-East District managed to arrest 113 suspects during various operations between July 15 and 17.

Police in Zone 4 joined forces with other stakeholders such as the EMPD, Home Affairs Immigration officials, CPF and different security companies to conduct various operations in their policing precinct.

Sergeant Daphney Phooko from Elsburg SAPS said suspects were arrested during high-density operations, road blocks and tracing.

Arrests included murder, attempted murder, rape, sexual assault, robbery and malicious damage to property.
