Gospel star returns to the music scene with new album

Ekurhuleni gospel star Xolani Jwaga is set to make a triumphant return with new music after a five-year break, embarking on a journey that promises to captivate hearts and souls once again.

His upcoming project, titled The Horn, marks a significant milestone in his career.

Xolani, known for his hit Belokhenam, has established himself as a beacon of hope and inspiration in the gospel music world.

“This live DVD recording will be a significant milestone in my life and career, allowing fans to witness unparalleled talent and passion firsthand,” said Xolani.

Reflecting on his hiatus, Xolani explained his readiness to return to worship through his music.

“This recording will be a spiritual communion, acknowledging the omnipresence of God’s grace and the assurance that He is steadfastly guiding and advocating for us,” he said.

Since his debut album Hosana, Xolani has inspired gospel enthusiasts nationwide. When asked about the meaning behind The Horn, he shared, “The symbolism of the horn is deeply rooted in the challenges I have faced.

“The horn signifies victory, portraying the declaration that ‘we are victorious’.”

Addressing the long gap between releases, Xolani said, “I know the industry expects constant new material, but for me, music is a ministry, and I never speak when God has not instructed. I believe that’s why my songs still resonate.”

In anticipation of his new music, Xolani will be recording a live DVD.

“This recording is special to me, and I want it to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend.

“This recording will capture the essence of the music and the raw emotion of this moment,” Xolani said.
