Heavyweights International Comedy hits the Big Top

Gina Yashere from the USA will get the audience laughing when Heavy International Comedy comes to the Big Top Arena at Gold Reef City on December 11.

South African, Nigerian and American comedians unite for a once-off, not-to-be-missed, outrageously funny comedy showcase, Heavyweights International Comedy, at Carnival City’s Big Top on December 11.

The diverse ensemble of local and international headliners includes AY (Nigeria), Gina Yashere (USA), Thenjiwe (SA) and Trevor Gumbi (SA).

They will be supported by Tumi Stopnonsons (SA) and Nina Hastie (SA).

All established comedians in their own right, each brings their own unique brand of comedy to the event, with the promise of huge laughs for all.

In the driver’s seat as host for the evening is none other than the charming and equally hilarious Toll Ass Mo.

“These are top comedians who came through the ranks over the years.

“Expect a side-splitting, laugh-a-minute showcase of Africa and America’s quirky humour,” said Matthew Cook, events and entertainment manager at Carnival City.

Brought to you by Thikho Events and Site ET Sons Media Productions, the event starts at 3pm, with doors opening at 2pm.
