Vosloorus SAPS investigate murder and attempted murder

Vosloorus police spokesperson Piet Rossouw told Kathorus MAIL that a young man (the deceased) was parking his car outside the house at 1278 Mahlasane Street.

“The deceased was sitting with his girlfriend in the car when an unknown man approached them and fired several shots at the victims,” Rossouw said.

“Paramedics arrived and declared the young man dead on the scene. The deceased’s girlfriend was wounded on the upper body and is recovering in hospital.”

According to Rossouw, the house where the young man’s car was parked was apparently his girlfriend’s home.

He said a case of murder and attempted murder has been opened.

The investigation is still continuing.
