The Primrose police recorded a total of 24 arrests for the week, September 29 to October 5.
The suspects were arrested for various crimes in the Primrose area:
- Possession of drugs 2.
- Common assault 3.
- Assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm 4.
- Theft 1.
- Intimidation 1.
- Possession of live ammunition 1.
- Murder 2.
- Crimen injuria 1.
- Housebreaking and theft 1.
- Possession of stolen property 1.
- Drunk and disorderly 2.
- Contempt of court 4.
- Dealing in liquor without a licence 1.
“The Primrose Police Station commander Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo would like to thank everyone who contributed to this successes,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“The Primrose police fight an on-going war against crime in Primrose.”
The suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
