Celebrating Christmas in style

Twenty staff members for Germiston Child Welfare were treated to a wonderful year-end function, recently, by the owner and team of Ocean Basket Lambton.

“It has been a challenging year for Child Welfare and at the end of every year, staff are exhausted and thoroughly enjoyed a few hours away from the office, being spoilt whilst getting the opportunity to have a little team building, as well,” said director of Germiston Child Welfare Barbara Bouwer.

Ocean Basket made it a memorable occasion and kindly sponsored the staff.

“The opportunity was also used to thank staff for walking the extra mile during the year and also to bid farewell to staff that are seeking new opportunities in 2015,” Bouwer added.

“On behalf of all the staff I thank the restaurant for showing an interest and commitment to the organisation and through this gesture also expressing their appreciation for the work being done by Germiston Child Welfare.

“Germiston Child Welfare wishes all their donors, sponsors, supporters and especially the children and families benefitting from our services a very blessed festive season and a prosperous 2015.”
