Memorial service for murdered Satawu member to be held
Satawu holds memorial service for Chris Nkosi.
A memorial service for the South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (Satawu) Gauteng provincial secretary, Chris Nkosi, will be held at the Johannesburg City Hall, tomorrow, April 22.
The city hall is situated at the corner of Loveday and President streets, in the Johannesburg CBD.
Nkosi was gunned down and murdered in a drive-by shooting, last Monday evening, in Germiston.
The service will be attended by Satawu’s national office bearers, shop stewards, staff, Cosatu affiliates, and members of the ANC and SACP.
It will take place from 10am to 2pm.
Nkosi’s funeral will be held on April 25, in Mpumalanga.
