Stop-and-search yields results

In a continued effort to reduce crime in Katlehong the Katlehong SAPS conducted a stop-and-search in the area.

During the operation, held on Sunday, five suspects were arrested.

Charges included common assault, child abuse, drinking liquor in public, pointing a firearm and contravening a protection order.

“All of the accused were expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Monday,” said Capt Mega Ndobe, communication official for the Katlehong SAPS.
