Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics

Primrose police declare war on crime.

The Primrose police arrested 55 suspects between July 13 and 19, in connection with various crimes.

Suspects were arrested for the following crimes:

  • Rape: 1
  • Theft: 5
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol: 2
  • Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 7
  • Domestic violence: 2
  • Possession of drugs: 4
  • Soliciting for the purpose of sexual favour: 2
  • Malicious damage to property: 3
  • Possession of suspected stolen property: 1
  • Warrant of arrest: 1
  • Illegal immigrants: 27

Acting station commander Lieut-Col France Lepadima thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.

The illegal immigrants will be taken to Lindela for deportation.
