Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) members diverted traffic on Elsburg Road, following an accident involving a truck with a trailer, and a Volkswagen Polo, last Tuesday.
EMPD officers and members of the Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) were called to the scene of a head-on collision, last Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred at 4.20pm, on Elsburg Road.
A white Volkswagen Polo Playa and a truck with a trailer were involved in the incident.

“Both drivers allege that each of them had the right of way when they collided,” said Thabiso Makgato, on behalf of Wilfred Kgasago, spokesman for the EMPD.
The drivers of both vehicles and the truck’s passenger all sustained serious injuries and were taken to Union Hospital, in Alberton.
