Woman makes an arrest

A business owner recently opened a case of theft after one of her employees allegedly stole money from the company’s till.

As a business owner was about to leave work recently, she received a call from her one of her employees.

“The complainant was reportedly informed that one of the employees, a 26-year-old woman, had taken all the money out of the business’s tills and left with it,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Taking the matter into her own hands the businesswoman traced the suspect to Soweto, where she had allegedly already exchanged the money for Mozambican Metical.

The woman brought the employee back to Primrose, where she handed her over to the police.

She will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon, on charges of theft.
