Primrose police nab 22 suspects

The Primrose SAPS have been hard at work tackling crime in the area.

The Primrose police have been hard at work tracking down and arresting criminals in the Primrose area.

Between November 30 and December 6, they arrested 22 suspects for various crimes in the area.

Suspects were arrested for:

  • Assault common: 4
  • Sexual assault: 1
  • Housebreaking with the intent to steal: 1
  • Murder: 1
  • Theft of copper cable: 2
  • Theft of motor vehicle: 1
  • Possession of stolen vehicle: 1
  • Possession of unlicensed firearm: 4
  • Pointing of a firearm: 1
  • Fraud: 1
  • Possession of drugs: 3
  • Dealing in liquor without a licence: 2

The station commander, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, thanks everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.

Others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
