Morning market fund-raiser a success
Three charities formed the focus of the recent Lambton community Christmas Market.
The community of Lambton recently came out to support the Christmas Market aimed at helping Thys Marais raise funds for proper medical care.
Thys’ family have been trying to afford private medical care for him for two years, since a strange circulation problem caused him to lose one of his hands and a leg.
The event also collected donations for the Germiston SPCA and East Rand Hospice.
Community members could enjoy a number of stalls filled with different goodies from food to perfume.
Natka’s Hair and Beauty Salon donated the use of their premises for the market.
