Sinkhole gets green treatment

Sinkhole in Fishers’ Hill adorned with green umbrella.

Someone living in the vicinity of Pluto Street and Castor Road in Fishers’ Hill came up with the perfect way of highlighting a sinkhole near the intersection of the two roads.

They placed a bright green umbrella in it.

The matter was reported to the metro by Ward 36 councillor Clr Wendy Morgan and the GCN sent them a query to ask when the sinkhole will be fixed.

The metro responded that the sinkhole would be fixed this week and in order to prevent it from appearing again, ample reinstatement would be done.
